Sanatan Hindu Dharma, known to the world as Hinduism, is a vast ocean of treasure that allows a seeker to take a meaningful plunge into the realm of spirituality to discover one's self and, in doing so, gain a better understanding of the Self and of the Supreme.
Sanatan Dharma is also known as Vedic Dharma as it is founded on the Vedas, the eternal revealed Spiritual Knowledge. While Sanatan Dharma is indeed founded on the Vedas, it is expounded by the Puranas, the Agamas, the Itihases, and so on. Therefore, it is up to the individual seeker to pursue sprituality based on one's nature. In the search of the Ultimate Truth, to each his own, whether one wishes to pursue the impersonal form of the Brahman as in the Vedas, or His personal form as in the Puranas.
Hinduism is often misunderstood and misinterpreted not just by non-Hindus but also by Hindus as well.
My aim is to present the basic concepts of Hinduism that explore the "whys" not necessarily the "whats" in a series of books written in an easy to read conversational style of English.
My Vision of Hinduism is of a United ONE, transcending self-imposed sampradayic boundaries or limitations, and of promoting Spirituality through the principles of Sanatan Dharma.
It is high time every Hindu stood up AS A Hindu, rising above sampraday, guru, the name of the Supreme, and so on, and spoke with ONE decisive and collective Hindu voice. As Swami Vivekanand says, Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah!
My name is Deepak, and I am a proud Sanatani Hindu.
